CCRPG - Places Bal-Dethis, the Elven Heartland - (North: medium-small, temperate/tropical) Place of the first elven city. Held sacred by elves, only elves are allowed there. Home to the elven magical elite and those elves who still prefer the 'old ways.' Most of the surviving elven temples are here. Technology is generally very limitted, magic is utilised instead. Many goods are imported. More and more elves are changing to the 'new ways' and the kingdom is in decline, its influence through religion and magical power is also decreasing. Many elves are calling for the lands to be opened up and incorporated into more modern elven states. The land is still reverved by many as an ancient mystical land of great hidden power. Power in the hands of monarcy and high mages. ? - (South: large, temperate/scrub) Militaristic, purist human society, mobilisating for a preemptive war to begin wiping out other races, ex-colony. Power in the hands of despot. ? - (North: large, temperate) Religious, magical mainly human society, maintains moderate sized military force but is pro-peace. Began as a very early colony. Power in the hands of imperial family. ? - (North: medium, tropical) Militaristic, primarily human but heavily mixed race tolerant nation. Strong naval and air traditions, founded many colonies. Maintains large military, many enemies trying to encrouch on its borders. Power in hands of imperial family. ? - (North: large, temperate) Industrial, mainly dwarven though increasingly mixed race in the outer provinces. Several of the oldest dwarven cities lie at its heart. Very strong economically, promotes peace, stability and prosperity.
